Cancer Awareness
Strengthening Mental & Emotional Well‑Being
One critical area of focus for the Dyot Foundation is supporting cancer patients, who often face overwhelming physical, emotional, and psychological challenges throughout their journey. The emotional toll of a cancer diagnosis—ranging from anxiety and depression to social isolation and fear—can significantly impact a patient’s ability to cope and heal.
Recognizing this, the Dyot Foundation is deeply committed to addressing the mental health needs of cancer patients and their families, caregivers, and beyond. Through targeted advocacy, educational initiatives, awareness campaigns, and specialized training programs, the Foundation collaborates with leading oncologists, researchers, top institutions (USA & India), and major organizations (APOS, ACS, NAMI, ASCO), foundations (BCRF, Susan Komen, St. Jude, AACR), and social change-makers (Stand Up To Cancer, V Foundation).
These efforts aim not only to raise awareness but also to provide compassionate care, mental health interventions, and access to credible information—ensuring that no one battles cancer alone.
Nurturing the Brave Hearts of India
Dyot Foundation in collaboration with Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal School of Commerce and Economics (MSCE), Kasturba Medical College (KMC), and Dr Dharmambal Namasivayam Trust successfully launched the 'Shishu Bharath: Nurturing the Brave Hearts of India' initiative. This flagship healthcare mission unites experts, survivors, thought leaders, and community partners to raise awareness and strengthen support for childhood cancer care.
Beyond awareness, this mission is global. We collaborate with healthcare professionals, support networks, and organizations worldwide to provide essential resources, emotional support, and unwavering hope to families navigating this journey. Every step we take moves us closer to making treatment more accessible and ensuring no child is left behind—whether in India or across continents.
